  The hospital-like, "institutional" and unwelcoming feel of most senior care facilities is NOT something you will experience at Ramona Senior Manor. This facility has a very cozy appeal and feel to it. The two-story manor is structured just like a home. It has quaint, welcoming rooms and knowledgeable, caring staff members. The staff-to-resident ratio is very low, so your loved one gets frequent and personalized attention and care. Your mother, father, or other elderly loved one is not going to be taken out of bed and "parked" in an open cafeteria or hallway all day long -- unlike most of the senior care homes I have personally experienced. There are numerous activities, events, concerts, reading occasions, exercise sessions, and intellectual activities in which to participate here. And staff members are always conscientious enough to include even those among the residents who do not fully understand the activities, or are unable to fully participate in the activities. The "memory care" here is top notch. Inclusion and socialization are the main elements of success that I continually witness at this wonderful place. No other senior care homes I have visited compare to this one. I state this without any hesitance. It is a terrific place with a unique, small-town setting and feel. RSM is highly appreciated!
